How Do French People Celebrate Thanksgiving? They don’t…

Cette semaine, nous parlerons de Thanksgiving bien sûr ! Thanksgiving est une fête nord-américaine importante, mais qui reste peu connue en France. Au Québec, Thanksgiving s’appelle “le Jour de l’Action de Grâce”. J’ai écrit deux nouveaux articles sur le sujet : un article avec du vocabulaire et des notes culturelles, et un autre qui utilise ce vocabulaire en contexte dans une histoire en français facile (+ traduction en anglais).

Et que ce passe-t-il pour "Black Friday" en France ? Ça commence, doucement, même si les Français ne doivent rien comprendre à ces soldes... Lisez mon article pour plus d'informations.

This week, we’ll talk about Thanksgiving of course! Thanksgiving is an important North-American holiday, but which isn’t very well-known in France. In Quebec, Thanksgiving is called “le Jour de l’Action de Grâce”. I wrote two new articles on the subject: one with vocabulary and cultural notes, and another one which uses this vocabulary in context within a story in easy French (+ English translation). 

And what happens for "Black Friday" in France? It's starting, slowly, even though French people must be completely puzzled by this sale... Read my article for more info.
