Surprisingly, if many Frenchmen wear "formal" leather shoes, the younger typical Frenchman doesn't. He doesn't wear athletic shoes either. So what kind of shoes do French people wear these days (and what should you pack to fit in France)? Follow my tips... We even have a verb to say to put shoes on, or describe your shoe size: chausser.
