EarnForex.com Monthly Newsletter

*December 3, 2013*

Welcome to the latest issue of EarnForex.com newsletter — December
2013.

In this issue of EarnForex.com newsletter I will remind you about the
most important Forex-related events of the last month and will also
show you the list of the site's latest updates.

EDITORIAL: Martingale System — Going Broke*

Although the Martingale betting technique is at least two centuries
old, it somehow continues to gain new proponents even now.
Surprisingly, it is popular even among online Forex traders —
presumably, the intelligent elite of the risk-taking part of the
internet.

As you know, its main principle is to increase your position size each
time you lose. I do not want to preach about the hazards and dangers
of employing Martingale strategy. I just want to remind you that this
system is designed to be used with an infinite account balance.

Yes, Martingale trading can be profitable even without an infinite
balance, but then, it requires luck first to earn your profit and then
to get out with it. If you are not convinced, you are welcome to try
the Martingale Simulator referenced below.

Fundamental background of the past month*

November was a bit uneventful for the US dollar. Government economic
reports were being released following the pause in releases due to the
federal agencies shutdown, but looked somewhat unreliable. Among the
reports were nonfarm payrolls
<http://www.topforexnews.com/2013/11/09/cad-loses-usd-gains-vs-major-employment-data/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=n201312>
, which were unexpectedly good. The major theme was potential
quantitative easing tapering
<http://www.topforexnews.com/2013/11/14/us-dollar-stronger-outlook-bond-buying-reduction/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=n201312>
by the Federal Reserve in December (Dectaper).

The past month was not good for the euro. Lower growth forecasts
<http://www.topforexnews.com/2013/11/05/euro-soft-damaged-signs-weaker-recovery/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=n201312>
, an unexpected interest rate cut
<http://www.topforexnews.com/2013/11/07/big-surprise-ecb-cuts-interest-rates/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=n201312>
from the European Central Bank, downgrade

of France's credit rating, talks about negative interest rates –
all these news sapped strength from the shared 17-nation currency. Yet
the euro was not as weak as one might expected and was able to rise

against many other most-traded currencies thanks to some positive
macroeconomic data

.

The Great Britain pound was a real powerhouse in November. Signs of
persistent economic recover

y and prospects for higher interest rates

helped the currency to rally to multi-year highs.

The Japanese yen, on the contrary, reached multi-year lows
<http://www.topforexnews.com/2013/11/27/yen-drops-multi-year-lows/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=n201312>
and was among the biggest losers
