Welcome to the latest issue of EarnForex.com newsletter — October
2012.
In this issue of EarnForex.com newsletter I will remind you about the
most important Forex-related events of the last month and will also
show you the list of the site's latest updates.

Overview of the major currency pairs' performance in September*
*EUR/USD* — rose through the first half of the month but gave up
half of its gains in the second one. It was at the maximum at 1.3171
on September 17, at its minimum at 1.2501 on September 5, finishing
the month at 1.2859.
*GBP/USD* — was extremely bullish in September, stumbling near the
end of the month and posting some bearish days then. The highest
monthly rate was at 1.6309 on September 21, while the lowest — at
1.5825 on September 5. GBP/USD finished September trading at 1.6167.
*USD/JPY* — had its strong up-swings and down-swings last month. The
pair rose to as high as 79.21 on September 21, reaching a bottom at
77.13 on September 13 and closing the month with the 77.93 rate.
*EUR/JPY* — moved similarly to EUR/USD but lost more of its gains in
the second half of September. The monthly high was at 103.86 on
September 17, the monthly low — at 97.98 on September 5. Trading
ended at 100.23 for this currency pair.
*GBP/JPY* — demonstrated a bullish trend with a small retracement
during the second week of the month and a major correction during last
10 days of trading. The maximum level for this pair was 128.82 on
September 19, while the minimum — 123.95 on September 3. The month's
trading ended at 125.95 for GBP/JPY.

Fundamental background of the past month*
September was dominated by the news coming out of central banks.
One of the most influential even was ECB
announcing

details of its unlimited bond purchase program to
stimulate the eurozone's economy and relieve the most indebted
countries of some
of their burden. Nine days later, the German constitutional court
approved

the European Stability Mechanism (bailout fund).
The second wave came with Federal Reserve, expectedly,
announcing

its third round of
quantitative easing (QE3), which basically means printing more money
to buy
back troubled assets from the market.
Japan
followed

the trend by issuing its own Enhancement of Monetary Easing to
stimulate economy
and weaken its currency.
All these news have put significant pressure on "safe-haven"
dollar and yen, helping other currencies rally. Gold, silver and some
other
commodities were also moved upper by the last month's fundamentals.
